2010 Topps Chrome Baseball – 2 Hobby Box Break

I recently cashed out some COMC balance and converted it to Blowout Cards credit. With the credit I purchased 2 hobby boxes of 2010 Topps Chrome Baseball, 2 hobby boxes of 2010 Bowman Chrome Baseball and a 6-box hobby case of 2010 Bowman Platinum Baseball. I’ll post all the breaks in the coming days, starting today with the Topps Chrome.

If you’ve been reading this blog for a while, you’ll know that I broke a hobby case of this last year with mixed results. It’s a really fun break considering you get two autographs per box and a chance at some cool inserts and color. It can also be frustrating because of the lack of quality control in the Topps products this year and the numerous undesirable autographs in the product.

Anyway, I’ll spare you the in-depth breakdown on this one and just give you the hits. The four autographs I got were Tyson Ross, Josh Donaldson, Wilson Ramos and a blue refractor autograph (/199) of Jon Jay. I haven’t had much luck with this product, but it’s a tough one to pass up at the current price levels.
